I have two, a mare and a gelding :)
I hope you’ll be able to get a horse one day! I’ll just say 3 things, so it’s short:
- Sometimes the best horse for you doesn’t appear right away. But if you’re going to buy a horse, it’s better to wait than to rush into getting a horse that you’ll be unhappy with.
- Make sure your family and trainer are a part of the horse search.
- If you get a horse, remember that it typically takes at least 6 months to get totally used to a new horse. Be patient with yourself and your horse.
