Just wanted to say these a fantastically hilarious!! Love checking in, and showing off to my geek husband too (he especially agrees with your first posted meme). Thanks, Sarah from eventingincolor.blogspot
were you looking for any tips in a specific area of leasing? If not, I’ll just give you some broad advice.
When you lease a horse, treat it as if you owned it. Take good care of it, take the time to groom it, make sure it’s getting proper turn out, etc.
Make sure you and the owner agree on the leasing contract terms and that you respect what they asked. For instance, if they said the horse can only be ridden by you or a member of the barn staff, don’t go asking your friend to ride the horse for you.
Be patient with yourself and your horse. It will take time to really get to know your horse.
This blog is hilarious! So glad I stumbled across it! Is it bad that I carry a bag of carrots in my car just in case I see horses when I'm out? And that I've just cut a call with my boyfriend short to go and talk to/feed the horses I saw today? Hahaha!
thank you! I’m glad you found it too! Hahaha, naaah that’s good ;)
